Your job as a Receptionist(e)

As a Receptionist at Flora Food Group in The Valley, you are the first point of contact for visitors and employees. You are responsible for a warm welcome, handling visitor registrations, managing the service desk, answering phone calls and ensuring safety in the organization. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that everything runs smoothly at the reception, meeting rooms and events.

In addition to regular reception duties, you will also function as a Floorhost. As Floorhost, you are mainly present on the floors and you are the go-to person for facility requests and ad hoc situations in the work environment. You always think one step ahead. Whether that is when receiving guests, scheduled meetings/events or keeping your work area tidy. By having the right listening and questioning skills, you ensure that the satisfaction, quality, comfort and safety of employees is guaranteed at all times. By going the extra mile for employees and guests, we strive to relieve and surprise. By means of floorwalks in the building, you identify improvements in service and liaise with the facility parties involved. See it, own it, solve it! 

Because of the different tasks you will perform, it is important that you can communicate at all levels, switch easily and know how to get things done!

What we ask of you

• You are available immediately on Mondays 07:30-15:00 and Thursdays 07:30-15:00 = 14 hours;
• You speak fluent Dutch and/or English;
• You have experience in service work (hospitality/hotelling is a plus);
• You are well-groomed and have a presentable appearance;
• You like to do your job well, have an eye for detail and respond to the needs of others;
• You are willing to travel to work by bicycle or public transportation (there is no parking available).
