We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Weekend Supervisor for Food and Beverage at the Select Grand Café in the Louwman Museum in The Hague.

On weekends, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the food and beverage team and will ensure that our museum visitors and group guests can count on a welcoming and professional experience.

The Select Grand Café is located in the beautiful Louwman Museum in The Hague, home to one of the most extraordinary automotive collections in the world. Every day, we welcome museum visitors, business guests, and a wide variety of groups for lunch, drinks, or events.

Together with an enthusiastic team, we make sure that every guest feels welcome and can fully enjoy their visit to the museum.

What will you do?

​​​​​​​As a Weekend Supervisor, you are responsible for:

• Operational management of the food and beverage team during the shift
• Coordinating day-to-day operations on the shop floor
• Ensuring the quality of service and hospitality
• Guiding and Motivating Employees
• To be the point of contact for guests and coworkers
• Providing operational support as needed
• Identifying and Resolving Operational Challenges
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and hygiene guidelines

Working Hours​​​

• Regular workdays on Saturdays and Sundays
• Working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• An average of 16 hours per week

What are we asking for?

• You have experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial or coordinating role
• You are able to make decisions on your own
• You can motivate and lead employees
• You are hospitable, presentable, and a strong communicator
• You speak and write Dutch well
• You'll stay on top of things, even during busy times
• You are responsible, flexible, and reliable
