SUMMER JOB – Receptionist in Amsterdam (on-call)

Spirit Hospitality Services is currently looking for an enthusiastic, hospitable colleague with a passion for high-end service who is primarily available during the summer months to work for 2–3 employers in Amsterdam! Read on! 

(Please note! This is a flexible part-time position where you can indicate your availability from Monday through Friday. It is a zero-hour contract, which means we cannot offer fixed hours. You will be working to cover for vacation, sick leave, and open positions. We are primarily looking for people who can work 2–4 days a week during the summer.) 

A day as a Receptionist(e) in Amsterdam

As a Receptionist(e), you will provide a warm welcome and excellent service to visitors and employees of the company you work for. The trick is to make their visit an experience that guests will not easily forget. In addition, you take care of perfect registration and pour a nice cup of coffee or tea. As a spider in the web, you also answer phone inquiries, respond to emails and reserve meeting rooms. What this job is all about: creating and sharing new experiences. This makes every day different! • Experience in excellent service delivery (experience in hospitality/hotel industry is a plus);
• A presentable appearance as a hostess/host;

Furthermore, it is important that you

• Fluent in Dutch and also proficient in English;
• Live in or around Amsterdam;
• Willing to travel to work by public transportation;
• That you are available on short notice for various shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Especially be available during the summer period (June-July-August-September)!
