We realize this with our hosts and hostesses. As SalesManager you will lead the Accountmanager team and ensure the commercial growth and development of our services.
You continuously keep your finger on the pulse of the market: you know which tenders are coming up, which contracts are expiring and where there are opportunities for new collaborations. You actively approach sales projects and potential clients. You draw up convincing proposals and quotations, both in Dutch and in English, and present them with passion. Thanks to your keen market insight and proactive attitude, you know how to put Spirit further on the map.
During quarterly meetings with existing customers you think along with the Account Manager about new opportunities and innovations. You are a senior discussion partner for our clients.
As Sales Manager:

• Provide leadership to the Account Manager team:
• You are good at listening and immersing yourself in customers and are a reliable interlocutor who has a favor factor;
• You enjoy being on the road and building relationships with (potential) customers;
• Perform acquisitions and ensure seamless after-sales;
• Write your tenders and offers tailored to your needs;
• Hold persuasive pitches and presentations;
• Can handle deadlines well and enjoy working in an ambitious work environment;
• Are you a driving force behind commercial successes.

Our ideal candidate possesses

• Completed college education (Commercial Economics or Hotel School or similar is a plus);
• Experience in a leadership or management position;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a commercial position;
• Affinity for Hospitality and business services;
• Experience writing sales proposals, preparing quotes and making presentations;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to motivate a team;
• A proactive work ethic and thinking in solutions.

Furthermore, it is important that you

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Availablefor 24-32 hours per week; 
• Live in the Schiphol or Amsterdam area;
• In possession of a driver's license.
