All about the function
As a receptionist at Ymere, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees and suppliers. You will work in an open reception area, adjacent to the company restaurant, where hospitality and accessibility are key. Here you welcome guests in a warm, proactive manner. Not from behind a counter, but visibly present on the floor.
In addition to receiving and registering visitors, you will also take care of the meeting rooms on the first floor. You make regular rounds to keep everything tidy and ready for use. Thanks to your eye for detail and service, you make sure every visit goes smoothly. You switch easily between contact with visitors, colleagues and suppliers and use tools like Teams, Outlook and the phone for internal communication.
Your day as a receptionist at Ymere
You start with planning: which meeting rooms are booked, are there any special features? You check that everything is ready, from setup to coffee and water, and make sure the rooms look neat.
In the open reception area, you welcome visitors to the hotspot. You register them and guide them in a friendly and professional manner. You have a visible presence, make contact easily and ensure a warm welcome.
Throughout the day, you stay alert. You walk around, keep an eye on your surroundings and shift gears quickly when something is needed. Thanks to your independence, eye for detail and service-oriented attitude, every day runs smoothly, no matter how busy it is.

You have experience in hospitality, for example in hospitality, aviation or hotel management, and feel at home in a service-oriented role. In addition:
