A day as a Receptionist(e) at a law firm

You are the face of the law firm and welcome visitors and employees in a very hospitable and professional manner. You will sign visitors in and provide them with a cup of coffee or tea. The work can be divided into two elements: a reception desk and a telephone desk. At this desk guests are received for the meeting center. Your responsibilities for this are the preparations (setting up room, catering etc.) and receiving and guiding the guests. These activities alternate each day so it is a very dynamic job. Because of the different tasks you fulfill it is important that you are a real jack-of-all-trades, at home in a business environment and can easily switch between tasks.

Our ideal candidate possesses

• Experience in excellent service delivery (experience in hospitality/hotel industry is a plus);
• A presentable appearance as a hostess/host;

Furthermore, it is important that you

• Fluent in Dutch and also proficient in English;
• Live in or around Amsterdam;
• Willing to travel to work by public transportation;
• By November are available Monday through Wednesday 08:00-13:00 = 15 hours (by January 2026 there is possibility of increase in hours).
