Operational Event Manager H'ART Museum

The H'ART Museum Amsterdam is an impressive building: historic and classic on the outside, light and transparent on the inside. For five years now, as H'ART Museum Grand Café, we have provided events at this unique location. Think of congresses, large dinners and weddings that we plan from A to Z.
In addition to corporate events, we also organize public events such as Wines in the Garden and Museum Night. We also run a contemporary museum restaurant.

What are we looking for?

Effective immediately we are looking for an Operational Event Manager. We are looking for a real organizer who values hospitality and knows how to exceed the expectations of our clients. After briefing by the Sales & Events Manager, you will work independently to manage your own dinner, wedding or conference.

What is expected of you?

• HBO working and thinking level and extensive experience in similar positions within the event industry
• Stress resistant and able to keep an overview
• Great sense of responsibility and proactive in solving problems
• Hospitable attitude and attention to detail
• Leadership capabilities
• Flexible in terms of working hours and at various event venues

The main responsibilities are

• Function as point of contact for client, employees and the kitchen team
• Managing the team during events (sometimes up to 25 employees)
• Construction and dismantling of sites
• Ensuring perfect execution of events
• Taking care of administrative processing of batches
