Lunch Chef H'ART Museum Grand Café-Restaurant

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Lunch Chef (part-time or full-time) for our Grand Café-Restaurant in the H'ART Museum, starting in February.

You will be working in a close-knit team consisting of kitchen and service staff and will work closely with our chef. Together, you will prepare lunch every day for museum visitors, business guests, and events.

Grand Café-Restaurant H'ART (formerly The Hermitage)

The H'ART Museum is an impressive building: historic and classic on the outside and light and transparent on the inside. Within it, our Grand Café is a beautifully designed catering location with style. In addition to the café-restaurant, we provide the culinary and organizational interpretation of business and public events at our location. We are the catering partner of the museum and involved in everything that is organized here.
 

What will you be doing?
​​​​​​​As a lunch cook, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving lunch dishes
• Contributing ideas about menus and improvements
• Orders and (co-)management of mise-en-place
• Working according to HACCP guidelines
• ​​​​​​​Working together in a team of 4–5 colleagues per shift

Working hours

• ​​​​​Day services between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Part-time or full-time possible
• Evening shifts are sometimes possible by arrangement.
• Availability on weekends is required.

What are we asking for?

• ​​​​​​​You speak Dutch (for communication with colleagues and guests)
• You are a team player with a positive attitude.
• You have some experience in the kitchen (preferred, not required)
• You are flexible and stress-resistant.
• You work neatly and according to HACCP guidelines.
• You are sociable, communicative, and reliable.
