Spirit Hospitality Services is looking for an enthusiastic, hospitable colleague with a passion for high end service for the international law firm Clifford Chance in Amsterdam! Are you available three days a week? Then read on quickly!

A day as a Senior employee Hospitality Services 

As a Senior employee Hospitality Services, you will be the face and point of contact for the client, facility team, guests and on-site employees. In addition, together with one other senior colleague, you will be responsible for the motivation and operational management during the day of the reception team. You will ensure that you work with the reception team to deliver 5* service every day. You have a passion for Hospitality and get energy from organizing a welcoming reception. You make sure that everything is organized to perfection from entry to departure!

By providing the right guidance to the team, you will ensure a high service level and ensure that the various colleagues within the team can develop further. Besides managing the team, a number of other activities are central to your position;
- As a Senior employee Hospitality Services you will participate in operational meetings on location such as facility consultations and event consultations.
- You will conduct annual performance and assessment interviews with the Spirit colleagues within the reception team and take care of the reporting thereof.
- You are involved in the application process when recruiting new colleagues; You conduct on-site job interviews with any new Spirit colleagues and coordinate the subsequent onboarding process of the new employees.
- You maintain an overview of administrative processes and ensure that the team has the right knowledge regarding processes and procedures on location.

In addition, you will ensure optimal communication with Spirit headquarters, liaising with the Account Manager, HR and scheduling.

Furthermore, it is important that you

  • Fluent in Dutch and also proficient in English;
  • Live in or around Amsterdam
  • Willing to travel to work by public transportation;
  • Computer skills possess; basic knowledge regarding the Office package (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Teams is desired;
  • You are structurally available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 08.00 and 18.30, but some flexibility is expected (e.g. in relation to events or illness/leave of colleagues). Your working days will consist of shifts of 8 hours per day including a half hour break and may vary in start and end time.
