A day as a Receptionist(e)

You have a passion for hospitality and get energy from welcoming and registering guests, employees and suppliers in the reception area. The trick is to make their visit an experience they won't forget 1-2-3! The reception hall is an open one and sits near Ymere's restaurant. But you don't sit behind a computer all day! At Ymere, we like to welcome visitors proactively. That is why there is a hotspot in the reception hall where you will speak to visitors!
The work consists of a lot of walking around on the first floor near the meeting rooms. It is important that we prepare and maintain the rooms.

With your constant eye for visitors, environment and detail, you know how to respond proactively to everything. Teams, Outlook and the telephone are used as communication channels. Due to the high level of Hospitality, it is important that you enjoy reaching out and interacting with people. Easy to switch between the business environment and warm contact with internal employees.

Our ideal candidate possesses

Experience in excellent service delivery (experience in Aviation/hospitality/hotelling is a plus);
A presentable appearance as a hostess/host;
A proactive work ethic, thinking in solutions;
Affinity with the hospitality industry.

Furthermore, it is important that you

Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
Reside in (region of) Amsterdam;
Does not mind traveling by public transportation;
Be available immediately on Mondays and Tuesdays 07:00-16:30 = 18 hours.
