A day as a Receptionist(e) at a law firm

You are the face of the law firm and welcome visitors and employees in a very hospitable and professional manner. You will sign visitors in and provide them with a cup of coffee or tea. The work can be divided into three elements: a reception desk, a switchboard and a Client Service Desk. At this desk, guests are received for the meeting center. Your responsibilities for this include preparations (room setup, catering, etc.) and receiving and guiding the guests. These activities are alternated daily so it is a very dynamic job. Because of the different tasks you fulfill it is important that you are a real jack-of-all-trades, at home in a business environment and can easily switch between tasks.

Our ideal candidate possesses

Experience in excellent service delivery (experience in hospitality/hotel industry is a plus);
A presentable appearance as a hostess/host;
A proactive work ethic, thinking in solutions.

Furthermore, it is important that you

Fluent in Dutch and also proficient in English;
Live in or around Amsterdam;
Willing to travel to work by public transportation;
Are structurally available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., but where some flexibility is expected (e.g., regarding events or illness/leave of colleagues). Dhe shifts are 08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00 and 10:30-18:30.
