All about the function
Are you passionate about high-end hospitality and do you like to take care of guests down to the last detail? Do you want to be an Assistant Supervisor in hospitality and are you available immediately? Then this vacancy might be for you!
Assured of a good reception
As an Associate Supervisor, you serve as the first point of contact and are responsible for operational management throughout the day. You also have an advisory role to the Account Manager, HR and planning. Together you will ensure a high service level through proper coaching and guidance of the team.
In order to stay on top of services on the floor and for schedule flexibility, this position requires you to work in strength yourself (this is part of the job).
As a Front Office Assistant, you offer a warm welcome and ensure the perfect registration of guests and employees. The trick is to make their visit an experience they will not easily forget. With your constant eye for visitors, environment and detail, you know how to respond proactively to everything. It is an international organization so besides Dutch you must also be able to speak English well on a business level.
In addition, you will answer incoming facility calls, manage meeting rooms and the facility mailbox at the front desk. You take care of reducing no-shows of the meeting rooms and manage the cleaning and catering for the meeting rooms. Furthermore, you process incoming and outgoing mail and take care of guests as much as possible during their visit. Does the dynamics of the work appeal to you? Then respond quickly!

Our ideal candidate possesses
- Experience in excellent service delivery (experience in hospitality/hotel industry is a plus);
- A presentable appearance as a hostess/host;

Furthermore, it is important that you
- Fluent in Dutch and also proficient in English;
- Live in the Amsterdam or Utrecht area;
- Are available immediately on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday and Thursday are supervisor days from 08:30 to 17:00 (other working hours are possible by agreement, unless you are deployed on a reception shift). Tuesday you will work in strength at the reception desk in Amsterdam from 08:00 to 17:30. In total this is a 25-hour work week.
